Payouts

How Payouts Work

The moment your show ends, your money is available — no multi-day platform hold. Several ways to get paid, instant withdrawal that unlocks as you build a track record, and built-in splits between artists, venues, and crew.

The Payout Lifecycle

Here's exactly what happens between a buyer paying and you getting the money:

Stage
Where the Money Is
Buyer completes purchase
Held in the platform's Stripe balance — not our operating account, not yours
Pre-show
Stays in the Stripe-held balance
Show ends
Your funds become available · split is calculated · destination(s) chosen
Withdraw
Instant-to-debit (~30 min, limits by track record) or bank ACH (1-2 business days)

Why We Hold Funds with Stripe

Keeping buyer funds in the Stripe-held balance until after the show is what lets us turn cancellation refunds around quickly — if a show cancels, the money is still there waiting to be returned rather than already spent.

Payout Options

Pick whichever fits the moment. Eligibility (account age and history) can affect instant-payout limits for newer accounts.

What's Live Today

Payouts run on Stripe — bank ACH and instant-to-debit are the methods available now. Crypto and Cash App / Venmo payouts are on the roadmap.

Split Payouts

One door split. Many destinations. Configured per show or per recurring template.

Splits are calculated against your net revenue — the ticket's face value. Artists and venues keep 100%; any buyer fee is paid by the buyer on top and never reduces your splittable revenue. They must total 1.0 — we reject splits that don't add up.

Payout Timing

Some platforms hold show money 5-7 days, others 30+ days, and many require standing “reserves.” We do none of that — the show's balance unlocks the moment your show ends. An artist's cut is sent from that balance as a split: today by the organizer, or by us on request. Automatic artist payouts into an artist's own connected account are in build.

How Instant Withdrawal Works

Buyer funds stay in the Stripe-held balance through showtime, so there's nothing to “process” afterward — your balance is ready at show-end. Instant-to-debit withdrawal has a per-payout limit for brand-new accounts that rises as you build a track record; bank ACH has no cap.

If a Buyer Disputes a Charge

Chargebacks after door-close are rare. When one happens it is the organizer's responsibility, except where a failure of the Platform itself caused it — that is Section 7 of the BandPass Organizer Agreement, the terms you accept when you connect a payout account. BandPass may recover the disputed amount and its fees from your pending or future payouts, or invoice you for them. Today that recovery is handled manually by our team, case by case — nothing is deducted automatically, and we will contact you before it is.

Failed Payouts

If a payout fails (e.g., closed bank account, expired debit card), the payout shows as failed in your payouts table. Your money isn't lost — it stays in your connected payout balance with the payment processor until you retry with a different destination.
