Terms of Service

1. The Agreement

By using BandPass ("we," "us") to buy or sell tickets, you agree to these terms. We're the marketplace; the venue is the merchant of record for every ticket sold through us.

2. Buyer Protections

If a show is cancelled, you are entitled to a refund of the ticket's face value, returned to your original payment method through our payment processor. The payment-processing fee is non-refundable. Tickets are otherwise non-refundable except as required by law. We do not permit ticket resale above face value anywhere on our platform. Where face-value resale is enabled for an event, a ticket may be listed at or below face value; the new buyer pays no more than face, and the original holder receives platform credit for the sale, less our resale fee. Face-value resale is enabled per event and is not enabled at this time.

3. Fees

BandPass charges zero platform fee: the venue or artist always receives the full face value, and the only addition at checkout is payment processing, shown in full before you pay, never a surprise at the last screen. Refunds return the ticket's face value; the payment-processing fee is non-refundable. No surge pricing, no dynamic markups. Venues pay nothing. Artists pay nothing.

4. Payouts

Payouts are made through Stripe. To receive them you must complete Stripe Connect onboarding. Standard bank transfer (ACH) is free and typically arrives in 1-2 business days; instant transfer to an eligible debit card carries a 1.5% fee and is subject to a per-account limit that can be raised by contacting support. Additional payout methods, including crypto and Cash App / Venmo, are planned. We may delay, withhold, or offset a payout to the extent reasonably necessary to cover refunds, chargebacks, suspected fraud, or amounts owed — or as required by Stripe or applicable law.

5. Anti-Bot

We use automated traffic analysis, per-IP rate limiting, and per-buyer purchase limits — counted by normalised email so plus-tags and dotted aliases do not turn one person into many — to keep tickets in the hands of real fans. We may cancel orders or tickets we determine were obtained by circumventing these protections, and may suspend access to the Services.

6. Data Ownership

Your data is yours. From My Data you can download your profile, preferences, orders and tickets in machine-readable formats (JSON and CSV), change what you share with us, and request deletion of your account. We action deletion requests within 30 days; records we are required to keep for tax, accounting or fraud-prevention reasons are retained. Tickets you already hold for upcoming events stay valid and refundable.
