FAQ

If it is free, how does BandPass make money?

We do not charge anyone to use BandPass — we are focused on getting venues, artists, and fans on board. Over time we may add a small, transparent buyer fee, far below the legacy 25-30%, and build paid tools and market insights on top. Any fee is shown upfront.

Are there hidden fees we should know about?

No. The buyer fee is shown on the event page, in the cart, and on the receipt, and the buyer pays it on top of the ticket price. Venues and artists keep 100% of the face value — there is no separate platform charge, and the buyer fee is never deducted from your payout.

What if I want next-day money, not "the moment doors close"?

Standard ACH (free) lands in 1-2 business days. Next-day ACH (also free) lands tomorrow morning. Use those instead of instant if you don't need the cash that night.

What about chargebacks and disputes?

Stripe handles the dispute mechanics. Under Section 7 of the Organizer Agreement the chargeback and its fees are the organizer's responsibility, except where a failure of the Platform itself caused it, and we may recover them from pending or future payouts or invoice you. Today we do that manually, case by case, and we contact you first. We review volume for newer venues while they build a track record.

How do you make money on free tiers for venues and artists?

The buyer fee is the only revenue source on ticket sales. That's it. No selling lists, no upsell tiers.
